Peter Ferris

Peter Ferris has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the hospitality and software industries. Peter most recently served as the Head of Sales - APAC at StarRez, Inc. starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at RMS Cloud from 2018 to 2022, holding positions such as Head of Business Development, Partnerships & Payments, and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. At RMS Cloud, they managed channel partners, monitored industry data, overseen high-revenue accounts, and led global sales and marketing efforts.

Before their time at RMS Cloud, Peter was the Director of Operations & Development at Veriu Group | Veriu Hotels & Suites | Punthill Apartment Hotels from 2007 to 2018. In this role, they provided operational support and managed various departments across multiple properties. Peter also gained management experience at Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites as a Hotel Manager from 2002 to 2006, and at Gazebo Hotel as a Reservations Manager from 2001 to 2002.

Peter's earliest work experience includes a role as an Apprentice Chef at Old Sydney Holiday Inn from 1997 to 2000 and a management position at Papillionaire Bicycles from 2012 to 2016. Throughout their career, Peter has demonstrated strong leadership skills, sales and marketing expertise, and a dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences.

Peter Ferris attended Bangor Public School from 1988 to 1993 and then Lucas Heights Community School from 1994 to 1998. At Loftus Tafe, they pursued a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery from 1998 to 2001. In 2005, they acquired a Diploma of Property (Real Estate) from the Australian College of Professionals.
