Zhoucheng(Joe) L.

Joe L. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Zhoucheng(Joe) started their career as a Research Assistant at Southeast University in 2011, where they worked until 2014. In 2013, they also completed an internship at Siemens Healthcare, specifically in X-ray Products R&D Image Chain.

In 2015, Joe had two roles. First, they worked as a Software Developer Intern at PayPal for a few months. Then, they became a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where they stayed until 2016.

From 2016 to 2018, Joe worked as a Software Engineer at PayPal, specifically in the Developer Experience team of Core Platform Infrastructure (CPI).

In 2018, Joe joined Google as a Software Engineer. Zhoucheng(Joe) spent the first three years on the Cloud Apigee Unified Analytics Platform, working on data collection, processing, and aggregation. During this time, they received awards for their work on various projects related to the Apigee API management platform. From 2021 onwards, Joe worked on Ads AdMob, an internal startup at Google that aimed to disrupt the Market Research area by leveraging the Google Ads network to collect customer feedback quickly and efficiently.

Most recently, Joe joined StarTree in 2023 as a Software Engineer.

Joe L. began their education at Southeast University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from 2007 to 2011. After completing their undergraduate studies, Joe L. continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, which they earned from 2011 to 2014.

Seeking further specialization, Joe L. then enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University, where they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science, specializing in BIC (Bio-inspired Computing). Zhoucheng(Joe) studied at Carnegie Mellon from 2014 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Joe L. obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in July 2013.
