Dr. Jim Feng (Healthtech CEO)

Dr. Jim Feng has a diverse work experience in the healthtech industry. Dr. Jim currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Phyxable, an online community offering self-help video solutions for people with injuries and pain. In this role, Dr. Feng is focused on spreading physical literacy and empowering individuals to reduce physical pain.

Dr. Jim is also a Health Transformer at StartUp Health, a long-term academy and network for digital health entrepreneurs seeking to transform healthcare. Dr. Feng collaborates with selected entrepreneurs from around the world to broaden the scope of healthcare and technology.

Prior to their current roles, Dr. Feng was the CEO of Form & Function: Health, Performance, Wellness Centre, where they provided leadership in health, performance, and wellness services. Dr. Jim also founded Functional Equity Group Inc, a group of angel investors focused on investing in disruptive technology, real estate opportunities, and healthcare technology.

Dr. Feng has previous experience as the CEO of Form & Function: Onsite Medical, where they provided medical leadership and expertise, and as the Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of Remedi, an operational ASP based Electronic Medical Record System for specialist Medical Doctors.

Additionally, Dr. Feng has served as an advisor for the Rising Sun Campaign and as the team doctor for Team Canada Wrestling.

Throughout their career, Dr. Feng has consistently demonstrated their dedication to improving healthcare through technology and innovation.

Dr. Jim Feng completed their education in a variety of health-related disciplines. Dr. Jim first attended the University of Toronto from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health. Following this, from 2005 to 2009, they enrolled at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and obtained a Doctor of Chiropractics degree, specializing in Sport Related Injuries, high performance health, and injury prevention. In 2008, they attended McMaster University for a brief period and completed a program to become an Acupuncture Provider, specifically in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture. Additionally, in 2008, they earned certification as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
