Walid MacAry

Walid Macary has a diverse work experience in various industries. Walid is currently the Director of Partnerships at STARZPLAY, where they lead strategic collaborations in the entertainment industry. Before that, they were the Franchise Owner at Crestcom International, focusing on leadership training and development. Walid also co-founded Future Leaders, serving as an exclusive franchise partner for CRESTCOM International Leadership and spearheading various educational programs. Prior to these roles, they were the Head of Telecom Partnerships at Anghami and held positions at Zain KSA, Mobilink, and International Company for Mobile Services, where they focused on innovation, business development, and product development management.

Walid Macary earned a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication System from the University of Balamand in 1999. Walid then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Telecommunication Systems, from the same university from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, they obtained a Cisco certification (CCNA) from Formatech. In 2009, they completed a Project Management Professional (PMP) program at the Root Services Learning Center in Riyadh, KSA. Walid also has additional certifications, including a Certified Leadership Program from Crestcom International in 2019, and various Coursera and LinkedIn certifications related to digital marketing, analytics, and strategic planning. Currently, they are pursuing an Executive MBA from the University of Balamand, which they are expected to complete between 2021 and 2032.
