Asanga Fernando

Asanga Fernando has extensive work experience in the consumer goods industry, particularly in the beverage sector. Asanga recently joined Stassen Group as the Chief Growth Officer in July 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of On Trade, Functions & Special Events at Carlsberg Group starting from June 2019. From August 2016 to June 2019, they worked at Fonterra as a Channel Development Manager. Prior to that, Asanga spent 10 years at Lion Brewery (Ceylon) PLC in the role of Channel Development Manager, where they managed strategic channels and marketed leading global and local beer brands.

Asanga Fernando completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Cardiff Metropolitan University. Prior to that, they attended Mahanama College in Colombo 3, Sri Lanka, though the specific degree and field of study are unspecified.
