Trina Godbey

Trina Godbey has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies.

Trina started their career as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Express Scripts in 2011, where they entered prescriptions, verified patient information, and made calls to patients and doctors for prescription clarifications. Trina then worked at Humana from 2013 to 2014 as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, where they verified patient information, typed up letters to patients for notification, and faxed doctors for patient information.

Trina then transitioned to the dental field, working as a Dental Assistant Extern at Dr. Barry Gibberman in 2014 and as a Dental Assistant at Family Dental Care Associates from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, they returned to the pharmacy field and worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at TriHealth until 2016. Trina'sresponsibilities included cleaning and sterilizing instruments for surgery, pulling case carts for next day surgery, and stocking the core with disposables and instruments for surgery.

Trina then joined Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in 2018 as an ESR before moving to The Christ Hospital Health Network in 2019 as a Sterilization Technician. Trina'srole at The Christ Hospital involved decontaminating instruments and equipment, setting up trays and peel packs for the operating room and other areas of the hospital, and sterilizing instruments for surgeries.

Trina further expanded their skillset as a Certified Sterilization Technician at TriHealth from 2021 to 2022. Finally, they served as a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens from 2022 to 2023, followed by their current role as a Lead Certified Pharmacy Technician at the State of Ohio since 2023.

Trina Godbey completed a Diploma in Sterilization from Ashworth College between 2019 and 2020. Trina also obtained a Certification in Dental Assisting/Assistant from meditec 360 degree training in 2013 and 2014. Trina Godbey has additional certifications including a Registered Pharmacy Tech certification from the Kentucky State Board of Pharmacy in July 2023, a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification from the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy in January 2023, a dental x-ray license from the Ohio State Board of Dentistry in October 2014, a Certified Pharmacy Technician certification from PTCB in November 2009, and a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification from IAHCSMM in September 2020.
