Senior Vice President at State Policy Network

Carrie Conko has diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Most recently, they served as the Senior Vice President and Senior Vice President for Communications at the State Policy Network from 2016 to the present. Prior to that, they worked at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University as a Senior Vice President from 2010 to 2016 and as the Director of Communications from 2004 to 2010. Carrie also has experience in strategic communications as an Account Manager at Levick Strategic Communications from 2003 to 2004. Additionally, they held positions as a Client Manager and Vice President of Product Development at Jaffe Associates from 2001 to 2003 and as the Director of Client Services at Dennemeyer & Co. LLC from 1999 to 2001. Carrie began their career as a Public Affairs Associate and later as a Calendar and Events Manager at the Washington National Cathedral from 1994 to 1999. Prior to that, they were an Office Manager at V-PAC in 1993 and a Data Analyst at Wirthlin Worldwide in 1992.

Carrie Conko graduated from American University in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Anthropology. Carrie attended the institution from 1988 to 1992.
