Chengappa AK is an accomplished talent acquisition leader with extensive experience in recruitment and human resources. Currently serving as Vice President of Talent Acquisition at State Street since November 2016, Chengappa leads a team of over 60 professionals and drives initiatives focused on change and transformation within the Talent Acquisition HUB. Prior to this role, Chengappa held several significant positions, including VP of EMEA Talent Acquisition at ANZ, where notable achievements included reducing vendor dependency from 48% to 10% and spearheading diversity hiring initiatives. Prior experience also includes senior roles at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre and HSBC, demonstrating a strong track record in staffing, operational efficiencies, and high-volume recruitment. Chengappa holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources and Marketing from Bangalore University.
