Omar Abousteit

Omar Abousteit has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Omar started their career as an Assistant Manager at JETRO's Cairo office in 2001. Omar then moved on to Citigroup in 2006, where they held roles such as Financial Management Associate and VP of Corporate Treasury. At Citigroup, they led various projects and managed a team to ensure regulatory compliance and improve liquidity and funding activities. In 2011, they joined Barclays Capital as a Vice President in Funding & Liquidity Management before later transitioning to their current role as Vice President of Global Treasury Risk at State Street in 2015.

Omar Abousteit completed their MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from The American University in Cairo in 2000.
