Jaime Ford has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They started their career as a Studio Artist at Full Points Graphics in 2015 and later became a Freelance Artist at Novo Arts, Inc. from 2016 to 2017. Jaime then worked as a Gallery Manager at Cotton Candy Machine Gallery, where they handled limited edition artwork and fine art prints. They also gained experience as a Graphic Designer at Antiquarium, ltd. Fine Ancient Arts Gallery and Mason Jar.
In 2013, Jaime became a self-employed Freelance Graphic Designer, working on creative marketing materials for clients in the food and hospitality, media, and music industries. They further expanded their freelance work as a Freelance Illustrator, creating web comics, t-shirts, hand-painted signs, and album covers for multiple clients.
Jaime also worked as a Lead Illustrator and Designer at El Barrio Comic, where they were responsible for creating full-color comic books and coordinating merchandise production. They then joined Dot Time Records as an Art Director, designing album covers, digital booklets, and packaging for music releases.
Currently, Jaime is working at Statista as a Creative Strategy Manager, leading the creative vision and strategy for the company. Their responsibilities include creating data visualizations and content on various topics such as Covid-19, elections, climate change, and human rights. They have collaborated with partners and publications like Newsweek, Vice, T-Mobile, Forbes, and Business Insider to produce marketing materials and client-facing videos.
Jaime Ford attended the School of Visual Arts from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a concentration in Illustration.
