Misja Nuyens

Misja Nuyens has extensive work experience in the environmental markets sector. From September 2006 to May 2008, they worked as a Risk Analyst at Statkraft. Misja then moved up to the role of Risk Manager from June 2008 to September 2010. From September 2010 to August 2013, they served as a Portfolio Manager for Global Carbon at Statkraft. Misja then transitioned to the role of Portfolio Manager for Global Environmental Markets from August 2013 to November 2016. Following this, Misja was promoted to Head of Portfolio Management, Global Environmental Markets, a position they held from November 2016 to December 2022. From January 2023-present, they are currently working as the Head of Global Environmental Markets at Statkraft. Prior to their work at Statkraft, they held a Post-doc role at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from September 2004 to August 2006.

Misja Nuyens completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics at the University of Amsterdam from 1994 to 1999. Subsequently, from 1999 to 2004, Misja pursued a PhD in Mathematics from the same institution.
