Dustin J Silk

Dustin J Silk has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dustin J is currently serving as a Co-Founder at Staze since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Creative Technologist at MediaMonks from November 2018 to August 2020. Before that, they were a Senior Creative Developer at PHANTOM from February 2016 to November 2018.

In 2014, Dustin joined Publicis Machine as a Developer & UX Specialist. Dustin J'srole involved merging the creative studio with the development department and actively contributing to successful campaigns.

During their transition from Durban to Cape Town, they worked as a Freelance Developer in 2013, producing websites for local businesses and freelancing for previous employers. This experience contributed to their growth in dealing with clients and exploring the technology world.

Dustin began their career in 2011 as a Developer at Niche Digital, where they gained valuable insights into the advertising industry and expanded their skills in strategy, design, development, and UX. Dustin J also had a side project startup called Mr Quid, which was a characters and modeling agency catering to the alternatively beautiful.

Lastly, they worked as a Freelance Video Production at DreamBox Visual Productions from January 2011 to June 2013.

Dustin J Silk completed their high school education at Kloof High School from 2005 to 2009, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Following this, from 2010 to 2012, they attended Vega, the School of Brand Leadership. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Creative Brand Communications, specializing in multimedia.
