Senior Software Engineer at Steady

David Spencer has worked in the tech industry for over 15 years. In 2007, they began their career as a Survey and Installation Technician for S&A Computer Services. David then moved on to become a Support Service Representative for National Vision, Inc. and a Bench Technician for Fry's Electronics in 2005. In 2008, they attended Gainesville State College as a student. Afterwards, they studied at Southern Polytechnic State University from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they became a Software Engineer I at Clearleap, where they developed automated system tests for the Clearleap platform. In 2015, they were promoted to Software Engineer III at Cardlytics, where they were the primary developer of Tracking API and part of the Kafka streaming data pipeline project. In 2021, they joined Nolan Transportation Group (NTG) as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were part of the Architecture Team and managed a team of developers. Most recently, in 2022, they began working at Steady as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for back-end systems development and maintenance.

David Spencer attended Certified Careers Institute in 2000 where they earned a Certified Network Service Engineer. From 2008 to 2012, they attended Gainesville State College and obtained a Computer Science A.S. and Communications A.A. David then attended Southern Polytechnic State University from 2012 to 2014, where they received a Bachelor's degree of Computer Science and a Minor in Information Technology.
