Mat Hart

Mat Hart has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mat is currently the Creative Director, Product Director, and Owner at Steamforged Games, a war games and board games developer and manufacturer. Mat has been with Steamforged Games since January 2016 and has worked on successful projects such as Guild Ball, Dark Souls: the Board Game, and Resident Evil 2: the Board Game.

Before joining Steamforged Games, Mat Hart worked as an independent consultant at Atomhawk Design Ltd for a short period in 2015.

Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Project Manager at moo.com from October 2013 to December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing critical projects in development and managing a team of Project Managers and product developers.

From April 2012 to September 2013, Mat Hart worked as a Senior Project Manager/Producer at Capcom. In this role, they had full creative and fiscal responsibility for project delivery of a $30 million budget and provided critical analysis of titles in development.

Before their time at Capcom, Mat Hart was the Head of Production & Project Management at Ninja Theory Ltd. from January 2006 to August 2012. Mat reported directly to the Board and managed multiple cross-functional teams developing AAA titles.

From May 2004 to December 2005, Mat Hart served as a Senior Project Manager at Kuju Entertainment. In this role, they led a large cross-functional project team and ensured the successful delivery of multiple software development projects.

Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at LEGO Interactive from January 2003 to May 2004, where they managed projects within the company.

Mat Hart began their career as a Project Manager at National Air Traffic Services Ltd. from September 1999 to January 2003. Mat delivered multiple implementations of SAP modules and played a key role in the requirement capture phase.

Mat studied at Anglia Polytechnic University as a student from 1996 to 1999.

Mat Hart pursued their education from 1996 to 1999 at Anglia Polytechnic University. Mat successfully earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Information System Development during this period.
