Bret Janak

Bret Janak has an extensive and diverse work experience in the design industry. Bret is currently serving as the Global Head of Design at Stellar Elements since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the VP of Design at Primer.ai from September 2021 to June 2023. From July 2019 to September 2021, Bret was the Executive Design Director and Head of Design at frog. Bret also held the position of Design Director at frog from March 2018 to June 2019. Before joining frog, Bret worked as a Senior Manager and Design Director at Fjord from December 2016 to March 2018. Bret was a Creative Director at Method from October 2014 to December 2016. Bret also has experience working at Perkins+Will, where they served as a Creative Director from October 2013 to October 2014. Prior to that, they held positions of Visualization Manager and Senior Visualization Artist at Perkins+Will from September 2012 to September 2013, and from October 2008 to September 2012, respectively. Bret started their career as a Visual Artist at BOKA Powell in January 2004 and worked there until October 2008. Bret also worked as a Data Visualization Artist at Texas A&M University in 2006.

Bret Janak holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Design & Visual Studies from Texas A&M University. Additionally, they have obtained certification as a LEED AP BD+C from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) in 2013.
