Alyssa Concepcion

Alyssa Concepcion is a certified histology technologist with experience in clinical histology from her years with Sharp and Scripps healthcare systems. Alyssa graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology from San Diego State University when she discovered in her time as a lab assistant that histology grabbed her attention. She went on to study through Indiana University’s histotechnology program to then become certified by the ASCP Board of Certification. Alyssa supports Stemson through the analytical processing of tissues by ICC, IHC, and IF staining as well as routine H&E stains. In her personal time, Alyssa enjoys hiking local trails with her friends and family and finding new places to grab a bite to eat. Alyssa is a San Diego native born and raised, and she intends to keep it that way.
