Job description

Stengel Hill (SH) is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to help ensure that the design intent of the project is realized throughout all phases of design, including concept drawings, design development, technical documentation, and construction administration. The Project Manager also works with the design team to ensure technical assembly of the contract documents and plays a primary role in the development and coordination of buildings systems design. Our ideal candidate is actively engaged in their own professional development and has a strong desire to mentor other members of the team, particularly in regard to technical detailing of building systems.

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Provide leadership to the team and client on multiple active projects.

  • Responsible for overall project success including client relationship, design implementation, quality control and financial performance.

  • Provide leadership to the Stengel Hill team, client, and consultants by communicating project objectives, schedule, and contract scope.

  • Manages all phases of the project from concept design through construction, including project setup.

  • Actively manage project scheduling, work plans, financial performance, and staffing.

  • Build and foster client relationships.

  • Effective at communicating and promoting the work of the firm.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-5 years of professional experience in the Architecture profession

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the Architecture profession

  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship-management skills

OPTIMAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledgeable in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards and building systems
  • Healthcare Design experience and knowledge
  • Experienced in producing fee proposals, schedules, and work plan
  • Experienced in designing and coordinating complex building systems
