Stenn are looking for a Financial Crime Risk Analyst. Could this be you?

You probably want to know what’s involved?

A Financial Crime Risk Analyst with experience in setting up risk controls, performing enhanced fraud investigations, independent research and write-ups to join a fast growing operations team in central London. This role will touch on many aspects of the business and focus on trade verification and compliance, anti-fraud and customer processes assisting in the management of new commercial agreements.

You'll possess strong Analysis and Investigation experience ideally within the financial crime fraud investigation or anti-fraud sectors and will also have excellent stakeholder management and client facing skills. The successful candidate will be an open, organised, driven and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work ethic and wants to take part in writing the company's success story.

As a Financial Crime Risk Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Perform Ongoing Trade verification and fraud Investigations on new opportunities, reviewing contracts, trade documents, entities and representatives
  • Work with business users to understand and document current business policy, process, and work instructions in relation to data gathering, fraud identification, risk reduction and customer support processes
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts and external vendors to design and document the optimised and enhanced  Trade onboarding, deals processing and client management processes
  • Perform business analysis to support the deployment of products to meet clients' business requirements
  • Support and participate in process improvement, analysis activities and initiatives and governance processes
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to assess solution fit and identify product gaps
  • Ensure requirements are accurately specified, communicated and understood by the technical implementation team
  • Provide ongoing support to the client and to the technical implementation team to ensure the quality of the implemented system in meeting business requirements

How do you know if you are the right candidate?

  • An excellent and demonstrable track record of understanding business functions and risk controls
  • Vast experience working with multiple classes of transaction risk indicators, from network analytics (device, geolocation) to contextual insights (market forces, customer behaviour)
  • Proven and significant Fraud Risk Analyst experience
  • Experience in analysis of anti-money laundering or anti-fraud processes
  • Practical experience of risk and compliance within the Financial Services industry
  • An ability to work with and manage expectations of senior management and key stakeholders
  • Manages own time to meet agreed targets; develops plans for short-term work activities
  • Excellent team player with a strong focus on working together to achieve results
  • Ability to interact professionally and with credibility with all levels of stakeholders
  • Excellent face-to-face, telephone, and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with working in an environment of change, with a flexible approach to new challenges
