The Role:

As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for the acquisition of both our SMB and Tier 1 clients. You will have a substantial impact on revenue by driving success, identifying, developing and closing new opportunities with enterprise merchants. 

This role will be primarily responsible for supporting the China onshore enterprise and SMB business development and client engagement activities across different client segments. The person will be closely working with the Head of China to implement China growth strategies, and to engage with other regional sales teams, client servicing and product teams in order to deliver Stenn’s full value proposition to our clients and prospects.

By directing the expansion of Stenn into Chinese markets you will take hands-on responsibility for hitting revenue targets by driving growth, being an advocate of our product and most importantly providing our customers with immense value. Not only will you grow our revenue streams you will also grow our market presence primarily focussing on B2B cross-border trade within eCommerce, Subscription and International Merchants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: You will drive customer centric team performance focussing on new client acquisition to expand our portfolio. 
  • Hit revenue goals and targets: Ultimately this is a sales role. You will own end-to-end sales cycles. By setting clear, consistent priorities and actionable goals you will monitor the success of your team by setting clear goals and objectives.
  • Leadership: You will help assess the current business roadmap, gain a deep understanding of who we are, what we do and our customer needs to build innovative SME growth strategies.
  • Partner with internal teams: Work closely with collaborators in internal teams both in the UK and globally (Product, Ops, Enterprise Sales and Marketing) to solve problems and ensure that feedback received is utilised in improving our product and operations.
  • Analysis: Quantify everything you do. Utilise data-driven decision making to understand market performance of initiatives to ensure you are effectively prioritising those with the highest return on investment.
  • Instil trust: Through structured, professional, informed dialogue demonstrate Stenn Technologies  as a highly experienced, credible and compelling financing partner to SME businesses.

Required Experience:

  • 3+  years experience in a sales role ideally within: Banks, Financial Sales, Credit Insurances or B2B export.
  • 3+ years experience in targeted verticals, such as solar export, electric vehicles export, FMCG export, etc.
  • Deep connections with key stakeholders of targeted accounts.
  • A proven track record of top performance in a high-growth sales function.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end enterprise sales processes with evidence of building long term collaborative relationships within our target sectors.
  • Speed, resourcefulness, and go-getter attitude. Stenn moves incredibly fast and always operates in new spaces whether this be verticals or geographies.
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced scaleup environment.
