Kate Montgomery has been in the product marketing and strategy field for over eight years. Kate is currently the Head of Product Marketing at Step, a company that offers bootcamps to help people launch or accelerate their careers in fields like UX UI and Product Management. Prior to Step, Kate was the Vice President of Product at 2U, where they were responsible for establishing the vision and growth strategy for a portfolio of bootcamp products. Kate has also worked at Pearson as a Senior Product Marketing Manager, where they promoted and brought a series of innovations to market, including a native mobile app, a cognitive tutor powered by IBM Watson, an Amazon Alexa voice technology skill, and more. At Pearson, Kate also defined positioning and messaging, created compelling content, and informed campaigns that drove engagement and adoption.

Kate Montgomery graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Fairfield University. Kate then went on to complete two certification courses from LinkedIn, the first in Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues and the second in Unconscious Bias.
