William Copeland

William Copeland has a diverse and extensive work experience. William began their career as a Ski Technician at Ski Butlers in 2015 and later worked as Kitchen Staff at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. In 2015, they joined NOLS - National Outdoor Leadership School as an Operations Assistant, where they provided support in day-to-day operations and logistical support for backcountry courses. William also served as the Rations Manager at NOLS, where they developed and built rations specific to each course and advised on future changes to the program.

In 2016, William worked as a Field Instructor at Moondance Adventures and Auditor at Teton Club. William then joined Jackson Hole Management Company as a Caretaker in 2017. Later, in 2018, they worked as a Technical Consultant at Teton Backcountry Rentals and Financial Controller at Vault Rentals. From 2018 to 2020, William served as a Bookkeeper, Finance Manager, and Assistant Controller at Stept Studios.

In 2020, they joined Jackson Hole Fly Company as an Accountant. Throughout their career, William has gained valuable experience in finance, management, operations, and customer service roles.

William Copeland attended the Greensboro Day School until 2010. William then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Natural Resources/Conservation, General at Sewanee-The University of the South from 2010 to 2014. Before attending the university, they also had an experience in Outdoor Education at NOLS until 2009.
