Prakash Chonkar has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Starting in 1987 at Citigroup Corporate & Investment Bank, they worked their way up to the position of Managing Director. During this time, they provided global banking services to US clients in over 80 countries. In 2004, Chonkar joined CitiCapital and Citigroup Corporate & Investment Bank as the Managing Director and Head of Strategic Business Development. Prakash successfully built and led a team, originating and implementing the first-ever vendor finance program in the global auction industry. In 2008, they moved to Citigroup, Global Commercial Banking and took on the roles of Head of International Sector and Head of Treasury Management and Commercial Banking Products. Prakash provided leadership and vision to nationwide teams and led the international sector teams for Latin America, Asia, and EMEA. In 2013, Chonkar founded P3 Private Investment Partners, where they developed and executed quantitative strategies to capture value in market volatility for large-cap stocks. Finally, since 2016, Prakash Chonkar has served as the Managing Director at Sterling National Bank, where they originate and executes various financial transactions and builds strategic partnerships with middle-market corporations.

Prakash Chonkar holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus in Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Competitive Strategies, Investments, and General Management from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Prior to pursuing their MBA, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Production Planning & Control from the University of Mumbai. In addition to their formal education, Prakash has also obtained certifications in "The Five Most Important Questions You Will Ever Ask About Your Organization (Blinkist Summary)" and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn in December 2020 and June 2020 respectively.
