Leandra Ferreira Leite

Leandra Ferreira Leite has an extensive work experience, starting in 1996 with Braskem as a Senior Lawyer. Leandra then moved on to Embraer in 2000, where they worked as a Senior Legal Counsel until 2005. From 2005 to 2007, Leandra worked at Leroy Merlin as a General Counsel. Leandra joined International Paper in 2007, initially as a Senior Legal Counsel and then as the General Counsel, Compliance Officer & Sustainability Director from 2012 to 2016. Leandra continued to work at International Paper as the General Counsel and Compliance Officer from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, Leandra became a Partner at LEANDRA FERREIRA LEITE SOCIEDADE IND. DE ADVOCACIA. Currently, they are the Head of Legal Department at Sterlite Power, starting from January 2020.

Leandra Ferreira Leite graduated from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo in 1995 with a Bachelor's degree in Law. In 1997, they pursued a specialization in Business Law at the same university. In 2001, they completed a specialization in Administration for the Third Sector at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. In 2005, Leandra obtained a Master of Law degree (LLM) in Corporate Law from Ibmec. Leandra participated in an Executive Development Program at Fundação Dom Cabral in 2010. Additionally, Leandra obtained the OAB certification from Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil in 1996. In 2019, they obtained a Compliance Program certification (CPC-A) from LEC - Legal, Ethics & Compliance. Leandra is currently pursuing a field of study in Corporate Governance as a Board of Directors Member at IBGC - Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
