Pierre Ducarouge

Pierre Ducarouge is an experienced professional in the medical device industry with a focus on drug delivery systems. Currently serving as Core Team Leader for Drug Delivery Devices at Stevanato Group since October 2021, Pierre oversees the development of new medical devices, collaborating closely with R&D, business development, and manufacturing teams while managing project scope, budget, planning, and reporting. Previously, at BD from 2014 to 2021, Pierre held various roles including Project Manager for the Biotech segment, leading cross-functional teams on product development projects, and contributed significantly to the Intevia 1ml project as an R&D Core Team member. Early career experience includes roles as a Polymer & Design Engineer at EVEON and an R&D Engineer at Rexam Healthcare, providing a solid foundation in plastic device design and injection molding processes. Pierre holds a mechanical engineering degree from INSA Lyon, underscoring a strong educational background in mechanical processes and plastic design.
