Matthew Dennis

International Controller at Steve Madden

Matthew Dennis has over 20 years of experience in finance and operations roles.

Matthew started their career at Tiffany & Company as a Senior Cost Accountant, where they produced monthly manufacturing financial statements and inventory reports. Matthew also played a key role in implementing policies and procedures and supported the implementation of JD Edwards.

Mr. Dennis then worked at Mini So International as an Assistant Controller before moving on to Sandberg and Sikorski as the Director of Operations/Assistant Controller.

At Ralph Lauren, they served as the Director Wholesale Finance and later became the SAP Implementation Director.

Afterwards, they joined Club Monaco as the SAP Project Manager and eventually became the Director of Finance.

Matthew then moved to Proenza as the Controller, where they managed and assessed company assets and optimized financial and operational processes.

Currently, they are working at Steve Madden as the International Controller, where they develop international financial and operations strategies and monitors financial transactions, budgeting, and forecasting, among other responsibilities.

Matthew Dennis earned their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Cornell University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Matthew later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, General from Seton Hall University between 2001 and 2004.
