Donna McGrory

Donna McGrory, PhD has extensive experience in the field of communications, with a particular focus on public relations and media relations. Donna is currently the Global Head of Public Relations at SThree. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Partner at Foley, where they worked closely with clients to promote sustainable sectors. Donna also held the role of Senior Manager, External Communications at Rolls-Royce, where they were responsible for environmental communications and crisis management. Before that, they served as the Regional Leader, External Communications at Honeywell, overseeing media relations in the EMEAI region. Donna began their career as an Account Director at Four Communications, specializing in responsible business initiatives. Donna also worked as a Director and Consultant at Itsy PR while pursuing their PhD, focusing on marketing communications and media relations. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Press Officer and Communications Officer at Leonardo.

Donna McGrory, PhD, has a diverse education history. Donna earned their Bachelor of Laws degree in Law from the University of Strathclyde. Donna then pursued a Master of Science degree in Political Science and Communication at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Following that, they obtained a Master of Research degree in Visual Anthropology from the University of St Andrews. Donna later completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Anthropology at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In addition to their academic achievements, Donna McGrory has obtained certifications in Sustainability for Business from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and in Clean Power from Imperial College London.
