Gijs de Bont

Gijs de Bont currently serves as the Chairman of the executive board at Stichting Biezonderwijs, providing support to children and youth aged 4 to 20 who require additional assistance in learning and growing. In addition to this role, Gijs is a member of the CAO negotiation committee and the labor market committee at PO-Raad, and has contributed to the National Regieorgaan Onderwijsonderzoek (NRO) as a member of the assessment committee for knowledge in future education. Previously, Gijs held significant positions at Helicon Opleidingen as vice chairman of the executive board, and acted as general director at Maastricht School of Management, overseeing the Master of Management in Education program. Gijs has extensive experience in consultancy, particularly in education sectors, with a focus on leadership and strategic human resource management. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Cornell University and various other executive programs at prestigious institutions such as The London School of Economics, Harvard Kennedy School, and TIAS School for Business and Society.
