Beatrice Sfondylia has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries related to intellectual property.

Beatrice'smost recent role is as Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at Stoli® Group since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at KATZAROV SA - Patent & Trademark Attorneys from October 2019 to September 2022, serving as Head of Trademark Department and Of Counsel. Beatrice also held the position of Of Counsel and Trademark Attorney at the same company from November 2018 to September 2022.

Before joining KATZAROV SA, Beatrice was a Founding Partner, IP Attorney, and Project Manager at B&S Nomos Ltd from October 2014 to October 2018. Beatrice served as Senior Legal Counsel IP at Bacardi & Company Limited from February 2008 to September 2014.

Prior to that, Beatrice held the position of Head of Intellectual Property at SPI Group S.à r.l. from May 2004 to January 2008. During their time there, they built and led the Corporate Intellectual Property Department, initiated administrative procedures at WIPO, and participated in court litigations related to trademark ownership.

Beatrice'searlier experience includes roles such as Trademark Manager at Numico Financial Services from June 2001 to April 2004, Swiss and International Trademark Examiner at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property from July 1999 to May 2001, and Seminar Professor on Swiss Code of Obligations at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne from February 1999 to June 1999.

Beatrice also worked as a Legal Advisor at Legal World Access Consultancy Service from May 1998 to June 1999 and as a Legal Assistant at the Center of comparative law at the University of Lausanne from October 1993 to May 1998.

Beatrice Sfondylia has a well-rounded education history. Beatrice started their academic journey in 1971 at Ziridis secondary school in Athens, Greece, where they obtained their High School degree. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of Lausanne in 1987 and completed their Bachelor's Degree in Swiss and French law in 1991. Following this, they furthered their education by pursuing an LL.M. in European Law at the University of Lausanne from 1991 to 1992.

In addition to their formal education, Beatrice Sfondylia has also obtained several certifications. In 2005, they completed the "Negotiation and Mediation" program with Professor Alan S. Rau of the University of Texas, Austin, USA, at the University of Geneva. In 2007, they obtained certification in "U.S. Trademark Law" from FORUM Institut für Management GmbH. Further expanding their skill set, in 2016, Beatrice received a certification in "Social Media" from SAWI - Centre suisse d'enseignement du marketing. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained a certification in "La vente pour non commerciaux" from SCORE Management.
