Gabriel Cliseru has over 13 years of work experience in Quality Assurance. Gabriel began their career in 2008 as a QA Tester at Electronic Arts Mobile Romania, where they ran test plans, wrote test plans, improved the QA process, started a new team, and created a new position (Development Tester). In 2011, they moved to Steve Madden as a QA Engineer, where they set up the QA department, QA'ed the website, wrote documentation, wrote tutorials, and started the automation process. In 2012, they joined Qualitance QBS as a QA Consultant, working on a large Magento implementation. Gabriel reported a security issue in the checkout process on the older versions of Magento and developed and maintained the automation tests for the project. In 2014, they began working at DeinDeal AG as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, rebuilding the QA team and setting up its role in the organization. Gabriel developed a set of performance tests in Locust/Python for the new APIs and linked the tests to the Java-based framework. Additionally, they worked as an Automation Freelancer, implementing automated tests for the desktop website using Java, Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber, and Maven. Gabriel then became the QA Team Lead, continuing to work on the implementation of BDD and helping their colleagues improve their soft and technical skills. In 2017, they moved to Stone Soup Tech Solutions, LLC as Partner & Quality Assurance Manager, building a testing framework which bridges the information and communication gap between the teams of the project. Finally, in 2021, they became the Chief Executive Officer of QAlity Tech.

Gabriel Cliseru attended Benjamin Franklin Bucharest and Benjamin Franklin High School. Gabriel also obtained a Duolingo French Fluency: Elementary (Estimated) certification from Duolingo in October 2016.
