Jimmy R. Noriega

Jimmy Noriega is the Chief Operating Officer of StoneCastle Cash Management,LLC. Jimmy joined SCCM in 2011 and is responsible for the day-to-day management of operations and technology and leads the overall operational strategy for the firm. Prior to assuming his role as Chief Operating Officer, Jimmy spent seven years as the Chief Technology Officer of SCCM, where he leveraged his more than sixteen years of experience in financial technology, specifically in the development of complex trading and portfolio management systems. Jimmy is one of the key architects of the proprietary systems that support SCCM’s bank network business.

Before joining SCCM, Jimmy was the local head of the global engineering group responsible for the development and infrastructure of the program trading platform at Morgan Stanley, a leading trading desk for the investment bank. Prior to that, he led the program trading software engineering groups at Dresdner Kleinwort Investment Bank, now merged with Commerzbank.

Jimmy holds an MBA from Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Additionally, he received a BS and MA in Computer Science from the City University of New York and graduated with distinction in all three programs. His research includes evolutionary algorithms and multi-objective optimization.
