Kathryn Rooney Vera has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Kathryn Rooney is currently working as the Chief Strategist at StoneX Group Inc., where they provide comprehensive investment strategy recommendations and market commentaries. Prior to this, Kathryn served as the Head of Research and Chief Markets Strategist at Bulltick Capital Markets, where they determined the overall capital market investment strategy for the firm and led a team in producing independent analysis. Kathryn Rooney also worked as a Global Macro/Emerging Markets Strategist at Bulltick, analyzing macroeconomic fundamentals and making fixed income and FX strategy recommendations for institutional clients. Kathryn Rooney has also worked as an Adjunct Professor of Global Economics at the University of Miami, an Emerging Markets fixed income sovereign research analyst at Bear Stearns, and an Emerging Markets sovereign credit analyst and Asset-backed securities analyst at MetLife Investments. Kathryn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to their roles, specializing in global economics and strategy.

Kathryn Rooney Vera completed their education with a BA degree in Economics and Spanish from Rutgers University in 2002. Kathryn Rooney later pursued an MBA degree in Finance and Economics from NYU Stern School of Business, graduating in 2008. In addition to their degrees, Kathryn also holds certifications including Series 63, Series 65, and Series 7 from FINRA.
