Vignesh Subramanian is a dedicated research assistant at Stony Brook Medicine, where investigations focus on ischemic stroke outcomes in mouse models within the Nadkarni Lab. Vignesh's experience includes roles as an emergency medical technician at Easton EMS and Port Jefferson EMS, as well as providing hospice and respite care through Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County. Previous research assistant roles include studies on Alzheimer's disease at Montefiore Health System and neurodegenerative disease pathology at Yale University School of Medicine. Vignesh has also served as an undergraduate teaching assistant at Stony Brook University, where involvement included student health advisory committees and residence hall governance. Vignesh is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a specialization in Neuroscience and Psychology from Stony Brook University.
