Ken Sjögren

Ken Sjögren has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Ken has worked as the VP People & Culture BU Cartonboard at Stora Enso since 2023. Prior to that, they held various HR director roles at Baxter International Inc., where they were responsible for the HR agenda for different regions and led pan-European projects. Before their time at Baxter, Ken worked as a Senior HR Lead Nordics at Hill-Rom, where they drove the HR agenda for the commercial organization and manufacturing site. Ken also served as the Nordic HR Lead at Otsuka Pharma Scandinavia AB, where they implemented new talent and performance processes and worked on leadership team projects. Ken's experience also includes being an HR Manager Nordics at Bristol-Myers Squibb, an HR Business Partner at Vattenfall, and various HR roles at Skanska Resdential Development Nordic. Ken started their career as an HR Inquiry Agent at Ericsson AB and later worked as an HR advisor and gender equality official at the Municipality of Mariehamn.

Ken Sjögren attended Umeå University from 1999 to 2003, studying HR Management. In 2003, they also briefly studied Film Studies at Stockholm University. The following year, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued Social Anthropology at Stockholm University. Prior to their time at Umeå University, they studied Middle Eastern Studies at Uppsala University from 1998 to 1999.
