Roxine Staats

Roxine Staats has a strong background in scientific research and discovery. Roxine began their career at Wren Therapeutics Ltd in 2018 as a Scientific Consultant, providing expertise and guidance in the field. From 2021 to 2022, they held the role of Scientist, contributing to the company's research efforts. In 2022, Staats was promoted to Senior Scientist, taking on more responsibilities and showcasing their expertise. Roxine recently joined STORM Therapeutics Limited in 2023 as a Senior Scientist, Lead Discovery, where they continue to play a key role in advancing scientific discovery.

Roxine Staats has a strong educational background in the field of chemistry. Roxine earned their PhD in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) degree in Chemistry with a focus on Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery from the same university from 2016 to 2017.

Before pursuing their graduate studies at Cambridge, Roxine Staats completed their BSc Honours in Biochemistry at Stellenbosch University in 2015. Roxine also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the same institution, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014.

Additionally, Roxine Staats has a short course certification in Micro & Nanotechnology from Grenoble INP - UGA, which they completed in 2013.

Roxine has also attained the Data for Science Schmidt Foundation Residency Programme certification from Cambridge Spark in October 2020.
