Olivia Aimua

Olivia Aimua is the IT Operations Lead at StormForge, a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to that, they were a Venture Fund Intern at Mendoza Ventures from January to May 2019. Olivia has also worked as a Systems Analyst II at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from December 2014 to July 2019, and as a Technical Consultant at Tufts University School of Medicine from August 2013 to December 2014.

Olivia has extensive experience in IT strategy and business process improvement. At Mendoza Ventures, they completed diligence and market research on startups, and provided pipeline and CRM data for LP fundraising and outreach. Olivia also researched and met with potential startups, and worked with the Boston startup and venture communities.

At MIT, Olivia devised, evaluated and implemented new IT strategies for business process improvement and root cause analysis. Olivia also successfully built out and centralized staff machine deployments and asset management, reducing turnaround time by 50-60% per machine and consolidating department asset orders. In addition, Olivia developed service dashboards and reporting for leadership to track business metrics, predict trends and report major incidents. Olivia also developed virtualization as a service for the internal community, leveraging existing infrastructure and saving program managers $3-8K per program.

At Tufts University School of Medicine, Olivia served as a Technical Consultant. In this role, they provided technical support to faculty, staff and students, troubleshooting hardware and software problems. Olivia also assisted with the planning and implementation of new technology projects, and provided training on new software applications.

Olivia Aimua obtained their Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Olivia also has certification from Coursera in Business Metrics for Data-Driven Companies and from Apple, Inc in ACMT.
