Sara Barkouli

Sara Barkouli is a Mobile Tour Facilitator and Field Producer at StoryCorps since October 2023. Prior to this, Sara worked as an Immigration Services Specialist at Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. and held various positions at Tufts University, including Writing Fellow, Women's Center Intern, and Gerald Gill Fellow at the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy. Sara has also served as an Organizing Fellow at the Muslim Justice League and as a Development Intern at the Massachusetts Immigrant & Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA). Sara graduated from Tufts University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and American Studies, after completing their high school education at Oregon Episcopal School.
