Tayva Heo

Tayva Heo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. From 2021 to the present, they serve as the Lead Trainer at StoryIQ. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they worked as an Operations Analyst at Lake Region Bank. In 2019, they held the position of Analytics & Power BI Manager at KEMET Electronics Corporation.

Tayva's experience also includes working as a Consultant at Aptitive from 2017 to 2019, where they were involved in full agile project lifecycle activities, such as business requirements gathering, project management, data collection, relational database design, report visualization, custom development, and end-user training. Tayva tackled various projects, including achieving an omni-channel view of a customer for a global retailer, developing a data warehouse and ETL solution for a global manufacturer, and building an analytics platform for sales forecasting, inventory management, and customer service initiatives.

Tayva gained earlier experience as an IT Consulting Intern at Infozone Intelligence LLC in 2016 and as an Executive Education Intern at Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago in 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Public Relations Intern at Rome and Tuscany Tours in 2015 and as a Retail Store Manager at The Happy Sol from 2011 to 2015.

Tayva Heo obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, General from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago from 2013 to 2017. In 2015, they also pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at John Cabot University. Additionally, Tayva Heo has obtained several certifications, including Data Storytelling from Learning @ Morning Brew in February 2023, Data Storytelling for Business from StoryIQ in November 2022, Looker Certification from Looker in July 2018, and MPN Competency – Business Intelligence for Data Analytics from Microsoft in July 2017.
