Jakob Wolman's education history includes a Master of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Telecommunications from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. Jakob attended this university from 2000 to 2005. In 2004, Jakob also briefly studied Business Law and Theology at Lund University. Before attending Lund University, they completed their secondary education at Norra Real from 1997 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Jakob has obtained several certifications. Jakob became an Agile fluency facilitator through the Agile Fluency Project in August 2019. Jakob earned their Certified Agile Leadership I certification from the Scrum Alliance in January 2018. In September 2014, they obtained an International Coaching Certificate from the World Coaching Organization. Furthermore, Jakob acquired a Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in June 2008 and a Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Sun in the same month and year.
