Olena Malishenko

Olena Malishenko has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Olena is currently working at Storytel as an Engineering Manager since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Test Engineer at Storytel from June 2020 to May 2022.

Before joining Storytel, Olena worked as a Software Test Consultant at ProData Consult from October 2017 to June 2020. Olena took a maternity leave from March 2016 to October 2017.

Olena's previous experience includes working as a Senior Software Tester at Playtech from June 2015 to February 2016, and as a Software Test Consultant at Innomos from May 2014 to May 2015.

Olena also worked as a Senior Software Tester at EPAM Systems from December 2011 to January 2015, and as a Software Tester at SysIQ, Inc. from April 2011 to December 2011. Olena had a Test Team Lead role at Wincor Nixdorf from January 2010 to March 2011, and before that, they worked as a Software Tester at Wincor Nixdorf from March 2009 to December 2009.

Before entering the software testing field, Olena was a co-owner at Smart System LLC from March 2007 to February 2009. Olena also worked as a Software Tester at Softline from January 2008 to June 2008.

Throughout their career, Olena has demonstrated strong leadership skills and has achieved notable accomplishments, including gaining people's trust and establishing reliable software development processes. Olena has also been recognized for their test case development approach and improving automation coverage.

Olena Malishenko completed their education from 1997 to 1999 at the Херсонский Физико-Технический лицей при ХГТУ и ДНУ, where they did not obtain a degree. Olena then attended the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' from 1999 to 2005, where they earned a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics.

In addition to their formal education, Olena Malishenko has obtained various certifications. Olena became an ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) in September 2014. Olena also earned certificates in Advanced Data Structures in Java, Data Structures and Performance, and Object Oriented Programming in Java from the University of California San Diego through Coursera. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level, Test Analyst, and ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Olena also completed the "Selenium WebDriver: complete guide" program offered by Software-Testing.Ru.
