Rolf Larsson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. 🌍 Rolf started their career as a Network Expert at Luleå University of Technology, where they managed internal and external multicast connectivity, maintained campus routers and switches, and oversaw university dormitory networks.

🌍 Rolf then joined Marratech, where they served as a Deployment Expert and later as a Support Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for managing deployments and providing technical support.

In 2007, Rolf joined Google as a Release Engineer, where they played a significant role in supporting the infrastructure for Google Hangouts. 🌍 Rolf onboarded multiple binaries onto a new release process, enabling the building and verification of release candidates on an hourly basis.

From 2014 to 2018, Rolf worked at Footway as an Operations and Release Engineer. 🌍 Rolf focused on automating operations, monitoring, and continuous integration/delivery pipeline on Kubernetes in AWS. 🌍 Rolf set up a self-hosted Kubernetes and Docker infrastructure and migrated older Chef/OpsWorks stacks to it.

Rolf Larsson began their education in 1990 at Midskogsskolan. 🌍 Rolf attended this institution until 1993 but did not specify a field of study or degree obtained during this period. Subsequently, from 1993 to 1995, Rolf pursued Computer Science at Luleå University of Technology. Following this, in 1996 to 1997, they attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology, focusing on Advanced Internet construction.
