Nandita Menon is a Senior Associate Scientist at Strand Therapeutics since March 2022, specializing in the optimization and design of lipid nanoparticle formulations for mRNA-based cancer immunotherapies. Prior to this role, Nandita served as a Technical Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research and worked as a Graduate Student Researcher in the Nanobiofabrication lab at Tufts University, where fabrication parameters for uniform opal structures and biopolymeric hydrogels were established. Nandita's research experience also includes investigating the correlation between type II diabetes mellitus and neural degeneration during a tenure at Tufts University as a Student Library Assistant in the Tissue Engineering Research Laboratory. Nandita holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College.
