Melissa W.

Melissa W. has over 19 years of experience in clinical operations. Melissa began their career in 2002 as a Clinical Research Associate at PPD, where they monitored clinical research sites to ensure ICH/GCP compliance. Melissa then took on the role of Clinical Team Manager at PPD, managing clinical deliverables for phase 2, 3, and 3b protocols. In 2016, Melissa joined Syneos Health as an Associate Director, Central Monitoring-RBQM and Senior Project Manager. In their role as Senior Project Manager, they served as the primary point of contact and liaison between INC Research and Sponsor to ensure study conduct was according to the contractual agreement. In 2021, Melissa joined Strata Oncology as the Director of Clinical Operations.

Melissa W. has a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University. Melissa also has four additional certifications: Certified Analytics Professional Prep Course from INFORMS obtained in March 2019, Lean 6 Sigma Yellow Belt from PPD obtained in October 2013, Certificate in Business Administration from UNC Wilmington obtained in August 2009, and PMP - Project Management Institute from Project Management Institute obtained in November 2015.
