Gilbert K. Adarkwah

Gilbert K. Adarkwah is an experienced professional with a diverse background in strategy, international business, and entrepreneurship. Gilbert K. has held various roles at different organizations throughout their career.

From 2023, Gilbert has served as a Representative-at-Large for Global Strategy at The Strategic Management Society.

Prior to that, from 2022, they worked as an Assistant Professor in Strategy and International Business at HEC Montréal.

From 2017, Gilbert has been associated with BI Norwegian Business School, where they held multiple positions. Gilbert K. served as an Associate Professor II in Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Gilbert K. also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and was an Industrial PhD Candidate in Business and Economics, focusing on international investments.

Gilbert has also held board positions at different organizations. Gilbert K. served as a Board Member at RFF Oslo-Regionale forskningsfond Oslo since 2020. Gilbert K. was a Board Member at Ducky from 2020 and at REV Ocean since 2019.

In 2017, Gilbert co-founded Gilbert and Partners AS, a prominent Investment Company. As the Co-founder and CEO, they have successfully invested in and partnered with several impactful startups.

Gilbert has also been involved in the technology startup sector. Gilbert K. served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Dribe, a technology startup in the driving school industry.

Additionally, Gilbert co-founded Pangea Accelerator in 2017. The organization successfully accelerated and invested in three companies within one year.

In 2019, Gilbert worked at Aker Energy AS as the VP Strategy and Head of CEO Office. In this role, they played a critical role in driving the company's corporate and business unit strategies.

Throughout their career, Gilbert has made significant contributions to the fields of strategy, international business, and entrepreneurship.

Gilbert K. Adarkwah's education history begins in 2009 when they attended BI Norwegian Business School and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they completed in 2011. In the same year, they also pursued a Master's Degree at the University of Mannheim, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. Gilbert K.'sstudies at the University of Mannheim were completed in 2011.

From 2014 to 2016, Gilbert pursued a Master's Degree in International Relations and Affairs at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB). Concurrently, from 2012 to 2016, they studied at the University of Oslo, where they obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Rettsvitenskap (Law).

Subsequently, Gilbert attended BI Norwegian Business School from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Business and Economics.
