Miguel Simão

Miguel Simão's work experience begins in 2013 with an internship at The Navigator Company. In 2014, they worked as a graduate research fellow at Universidade de Coimbra, where they developed a hand gesture recognition system and its application in controlling an industrial robot. From 2015 to 2015, they were a visiting research scholar at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In 2017, they worked as an R&D engineer at AMVALOR and as a professor assistant at the University of Coimbra. In 2019, they joined Stratio as a data scientist and later became a senior data scientist.

Miguel Simão's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled at Universidade de Coimbra to pursue a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they completed in 2014. In the following year, from 2014 to 2018, Miguel simultaneously pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering at both Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers and Universidade de Coimbra, successfully completing their Ph.D. in 2018.
