Michal Oliel has extensive experience in compensation and benefits, employee relations, and human resources. They worked as the compensation & benefits, employee relations director at Strauss Water Ltd. from September 2016 onwards, where they defined and implemented remuneration strategies and policies and were responsible for HR information systems and people analytics. Before that, Michal worked at Migdal Insurance Co. from 2001 to 2016, holding roles such as Director of Planning, Budget and Control, Compensation and Benefits, and Human Resources Director. At Migdal, they were responsible for budget planning, control, and analysis, as well as rewards strategies and policies. They also oversaw the payroll process for approximately 3,000 employees and were in charge of information systems related to budget control, payroll, and human resources. Prior to their role at Migdal, Michal worked as an economist at Tadiran Communications from 1994 to 2001.
Michal Oliel obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from Tel Aviv University in the years 1992 to 1994. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Tel Aviv University, completing their studies from 1996 to 2000.
