Boon Teh

Boon Teh has extensive work experience in various technology roles. Boon started their career in 2003 as a Developer/Programmer at the Adaptive Technology Resource Centre (University of Toronto), where they developed internal systems for handling admissions to graduate studies. Boon then worked as a Full Stack Developer at Maxxian from 2008 to 2011 and at Idea Notion Development Inc. from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Xtreme Labs Inc. as an Agile Engineer before being acquired by Pivotal, where they took on the roles of Senior Software Engineer and later Engineering Manager from 2013 to 2017. After leaving Pivotal, they worked as a Solutions Architect at Wavefront from 2017 to 2018 and at Mortgage Alliance for a brief period in 2018. From 2018 to 2020, Boon was the Director of Product Engineering at Rubikloud Technologies (Acquired by Kinaxis). Boon then transitioned to Kinaxis, where they served as the Director of AI Platform & Integration from 2020 to 2023. In 2023, Boon joined Street Context as an Engineering Manager.

Boon Teh completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto from 2002 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "The Top 10 Project Management Mistakes—and How to Avoid Them" from LinkedIn in May 2021, "Collaborative Leadership" from LinkedIn in April 2021, and "Four Fridays Management Training" from Raw Signal Group in November 2018.
