Sam Bowman

Founder and Editor of Stripe Press at Stripe

Sam Bowman is the current Founder and Editor of Stripe Press at Stripe. Prior to this, Bowman served as the Director of Competition Policy at the International Center for Law & Economics from April 2020 to December 2021. Additionally, Bowman has served as an Advisor at Fingleton since January 2018 and was previously the Co-Director of Freedom Week from January 2013 to December 2017. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director at Adam Smith Institute from September 2010 to December 2017 where the institute was ranked second in the world for Independent Think Tanks and second for Domestic Economic Policy Think Tanks in University of Pennsylvania Think Tank Rankings in 2017. Bowman has also interned at The Blackstone Group in 2010 and served as a Quality Auditor at Apple Inc. in 2006. Their very first job was as a Crew Person at McDonald's Corporation from June 2004 to March 2005.

Sam Bowman's educational career consists of a BA in Theirtory and Economics from University College Cork, an MA in Theirtory Asia/Africa from SOAS University of London, and a Think Tank MBA in Management from Atlas Economic Research Foundation.

Sam Bowman reports to Sasha de Marigny, Head of Brand Communications. They work with Ben Southwood - Founder and Editor at Stripe Press, Nick Whitaker - Founder and Editor of Stripe Press.
