Peter Higson

Support Coordinator at Stroke Association

Peter Higson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Peter is currently working as a Support Coordinator at Stroke Association since April 2023. Prior to this, they volunteered at Imperial War Museums starting from October 2022.

In their previous roles, Peter worked at Premex Group as the Group Operations Director from May 2021 to October 2022, and as the Operations Director from August 2014 to May 2021. Before that, they were an Account Director at Ceridian from April 2013 to May 2014.

Peter also has experience working at Marks and Spencer, where they served as the Head of Operations from November 2011 to February 2013 and as the Head of Service and Accounts from July 2009 to November 2011. During their tenure there, they were responsible for customer support, relationship and account management with third-party suppliers.

Prior to Marks and Spencer, Peter held the position of Head of Telemarketing at Citation Plc from April 2008 to July 2009. Peter also worked at Xchanging as an Operations Manager from June 2006 to April 2008, focusing on the Delegate Management operation and Remuneration and Benefits team. Additionally, they worked on a partnership with University Hospital Birmingham within the public sector.

Before that, Peter served as the Operations Director at Ticketline, where they managed various aspects of operations, including show setup, ticket sales, and the development of a new operating platform. Peter also worked as the Head of Learning and Development at Ventura from 2002 to 2004.

Peter's early work experience includes numerous posts at AXA from 1989 to 2002, marking the start of their professional career.

Peter Higson attended Thornleigh Salesian College from 1985 to 1987, where they pursued A levels. Peter obtained a certification from the Chartered Management Institute as an Associate in June 2005.
