Kevin Hixon, CPA

Kevin Hixon, CPA has extensive work experience in various financial and accounting roles. Kevin is currently working at Stronghold Digital Mining as the Director of Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, they briefly served as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at the same company in April 2022.

Before their role at Stronghold Digital Mining, Kevin worked at Highmark Health as a Lead Financial Analyst from October 2020 to March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Accountant at HM Health Solutions from December 2018 to October 2020.

Kevin's experience also includes working as a Senior SEC Accountant at Federated Investors from January 2017 to December 2018. In this role, they performed a wide range of financial statement preparation and analysis tasks, including completing GAAP checklists, preparing XBRL tags for SEC filings, and conducting financial statement reviews.

Before their time at Federated Investors, Kevin worked at BNY Mellon as a Principal Accounting Analyst - SEC Reporting from November 2015 to December 2016. Kevin started their career as a Staff Accountant at Brunner, Blackstone & Associates, PC, where they worked from August 2013 to November 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Accountant at Green-Bridges, LLP from January 2012 to August 2013.

Kevin Hixon, CPA completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting at Grove City College from 2007 to 2011. In September 2013, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification. Additionally, in June and July 2020, they obtained various certifications including "Building Your Team," "Leading at a Distance," "Managing Team Conflict," and "Make the Move from Individual Contributor to Manager" from LinkedIn.
