Henry Tugume has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Henry Tugume has a diverse education history. HENRY obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computerized Accounting from Makerere University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. After completing their undergraduate studies, Henry pursued further education and earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) in January 2017.

In 2012, Henry returned to ICPAU to pursue another degree, specializing in Finance and Financial Management Services, Tax, and strategic management/Planning, which they completed in 2015. Subsequently, they enrolled at the Uganda Management Institute and achieved a Masters in Institutional Management and Leadership, focusing on Organizational Leadership, from 2018 to 2021.
